Help Us Support Our Students' Success

TRiO Student Support Services (SSS) is a federally funded program at Central Carolina Community College that empowers eligible students to thrive in college. We offer academic support, personal guidance, financial aid help, transfer planning, and more with the goal of increasing college retention and graduation rates.

As faculty and staff, you have unique insight into students’ needs. You’ve seen their potential, and you’ve heard their stories. That’s why your referrals matter.

Refer a Student Who:

• Is first-generation (neither parent has a four-year degree)
• Comes from a limited-income household
• Has a documented disability
• Could benefit from extra academic, financial, or personal support

We currently serve 260 students and award over $20,000 in supplemental grant aid each year to eligible participants.
