TRIO Student Support Services Referrals

Help Us Support Our Students Success

TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) is a federally funded program at Central Carolina Community College that provides academic, financial, and personal support services to eligible students. The program’s goal is to increase college retention, persistence, and graduation rates through individualized support and structured student success services.

As faculty and staff, you play a critical role in identifying students who may benefit from additional support. Your referrals help connect students with resources that promote academic success and degree completion.

Refer a Student Who:

• Is a first-generation college student (neither parent has earned a bachelor’s degree)
• Is income eligible based on federal TRIO guidelines
• Has a documented disability
• Could benefit from additional academic, financial, or personal support
