BibliU Access

Central Carolina Community College has transitioned to the BibliU Access program. Starting with the Summer 2026 semester, all required textbooks and courseware are provided directly in Blackboard on the first day of class, with costs included automatically in your registration.

Students are automatically enrolled in the program when they register for their classes each semester. If you wish to opt out:

  • Deadline: You must opt out by your earliest course census (10%) date for the semester (e.g., if you take both 16-week and first-8-week classes, your deadline is the first-8-week course census date).
  • Where to find dates: Check your course syllabi in Blackboard or the syllabus library for individual census dates.
  • Scope: Opting out applies to all your courses for that term. You will be responsible for obtaining all required materials independently and at your own expense.

A link to access course materials will appear in the course in Blackboard. Some courses may require additional physical materials (such as uniforms, kits, or other physical supplies) that must be purchased separately.

Please see a list of frequently asked questions and answers below. If you have additional questions about billing, opting out, or access, please contact the Campus Store:

The cost of digital materials is usually less expensive than acquiring them from other sources and your materials are available to you from the very first day of class.

You will pay $22 per credit hour for your digital course material.

The fee is charged at registration and you pay it at the same place and time you pay other tuition and fees: on campus, online, or through financial aid.

If you drop a course before the opt-out deadline, you will receive a refund. If you drop after the opt-out deadline, you will still be responsible for the charge.  Refunds will be mailed approximately four weeks after the course census date.

Yes, the content can be downloaded for use when internet access is not available. Upon returning to an area with internet access, it will sync the work that was performed offline and allow you to pick up where you left off.
