Steps to Apply for Graduation
Have your advisor review your student record to determine if you are eligible to graduate this semester.
The Graduation Application for Fall 2025 is open for graduates. You may find it in your Success Hub. The deadline is October 17. If you are graduating from more than one program, please be sure to submit a separate application for each graduating program.
Herff Jones graduation regalia can be ordered for the May ceremony beginning in the Spring semester. Please check back then for ordering.
Practice will be held at the Dennis A. Wicker Civic Center & Conference Center at 1801 Nash St., Sanford, NC on the following days and times:
- Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. or 5:30 p.m.
- Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. or 5:30 p.m.
Please only attend ONE practice time.

Remember to arrive 45 minutes before the ceremony dressed in your cap and gown. Check-in with staff at the small auditorium. Graduation staging is in the small auditorium where we meet to line up for the ceremony.
Crucial Elements
Please keep the following important points in mind:
- The Student Records and Registrar’s Office must have an official high school transcript or High School Equivalency transcript on file in order to award your credential.
- A program grade point average of 2.0 or higher and a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or higher is required to award any curriculum credential.
