FAQs
Do I need to apply for graduation?
Yes. Graduation is not automatic, and you must apply to have your credential awarded and posted to your transcript.
Do I need more than one application if I am earning more than one credential?
Yes. CCCC requires a separate graduation application for each credential you expect to earn.
Should I talk to my advisor before I apply?
Yes. CCCC students should meet with their advisor to confirm graduation eligibility before submitting the application.
When will I receive my degree/diploma/certificate?
No credentials are presented during the Commencement. Credentials are mailed within 4-6 weeks of graduation to the address from the graduation application, and graduates should receive them within two months.
I completed all my requirements for my program last semester, but I did not submit a graduation application. What should I do?
All students must submit a graduation application for conferral and awarding of their credentials. However, conferral will be delayed as your application is processed in the current graduation cycle. Once conferred and awarded, your CCCC record and transcript will reflect your actual graduation date. The application opens at the beginning of each term and closes the week of the midterm.
