Coach

Head Coach

Chandler
Ellis

Chandler Patterson Ellis was born and raised in Sanford, NC. She graduated from Lee County High School where she played volleyball and softball. She is an unprecedented two-time female athlete of the year, four-time All Conference player for volleyball and for softball. She is also honored to have been the 2014 recipient of the Tom Suiter extra effort award.

After high school, Coach Ellis was a 4 year student athlete at Campbell University while obtaining a degree in Sports and Exercise Sciences. Ellis has been coaching competitive volleyball for 6 years for the Lee County Volleyball Club and is excited to have the opportunity to continue the development and success of the CCCC program and players. “Sports have been a great guide and blessing for my life, and I always hope to share that blessing with others.”

Coach Ellis’s coaching philosophy is that she strives to make each athlete a better player but more importantly to make her an even better person. “Athletics teaches you so much about discipline, determination, and respect. I hope to help athletes to develop those qualities on the court and in life.” “My goal is to help you reach yours.”

Coach Ellis is married to J.W. Ellis and they have a son, Gunnar Ellis. When not coaching or playing, Coach Ellis can be found hanging out at home watching cows with her family and 3 dogs.
