

Safe Driving Courses
Central Carolina Community College offers engaging, instructor-led defensive driving classes—Alive@25 and DDC 4-Hour—designed to help drivers build safer habits behind the wheel. Participants will learn how to identify and respond to real-world driving risks, apply proven defensive driving strategies, and make responsible decisions to avoid collisions and traffic violations. These interactive sessions focus on improving judgment, reinforcing safe behaviors, and promoting accountability on the road.
Alive at 25
Whether you’ve received a ticket or just want to be a safer driver, you can learn defensive driving techniques. “Alive at 25” is designed for students under 24 years of age and may minimize or prevent the assessment of insurance points or premium surcharges on insurance policies and/or drivers’ license. Defensive Driving
If you have been charged with a traffic violation, defensive driving classes may minimize or prevent the assessment of insurance points or premium surcharges on your insurance policy and/or driver’s license. Defensive Driving is ideal for ages 25 and older. Check the class schedule for dates and times to enroll today.
Prerequisites & Requirements:
- ALL STUDENTS must fill out an information form prior to registering for a class. This form collects information required by the National Safety Council, and is necessary for issuing certificates of completion.
- To enroll in Alive at 25 the student must be between the ages of 16 to 24.
- Students will be asked to present their drivers license at the beginning of class.
