Offerings

Our Dance and Movement program celebrates the joy of physical expression, rhythm, and cultural history. Designed for adult learners of all experience levels, these classes provide a supportive environment to build coordination, improve mobility, and connect with a community of movers. Whether you are looking to master technical footwork or explore the social dances that shaped the decades, our courses focus on the power of movement to transform and inspire.

Current classes include:

  • Tap Dance Series (Tap I & Tap II): From the first "shuffle" to complex syncopations, these classes focus on rhythm, timing, and the percussive power of your own feet.
  • Retro Dance Journey: An exploration of popular dance evolution from the 1960s to the modern era, blending light movement with cultural history.

Our Creative Writing program invites writers of all levels—from beginners to seasoned veterans—to explore the art of the written word. 

We foster a supportive community where imagination meets excellence, teaching craft as a powerful tool to transform both writer and reader. Whether you are drafting your first pages or refining a polished collection, our courses provide the space to develop your unique voice.

Current classes include:

  • Write Your Novella I & II: A guided journey through the structure, pacing, and character development required to bring your short novel to life.
  • Poetry Workshop: An immersive exploration of rhythm, imagery, and form designed to sharpen your poetic voice.

Do you have a love for food? Are you interested in learning the basic techniques of cooking or baking? CCCC provides classes that will help you develop your palate and broaden your culinary skills.

Classes in the education, languages and exam prep program can provide you with guided and proven strategies for teaching and learning, discovering a new language, or studying for educational and certification exams.  We have a large variety of continuing education courses for teachers and educational professionals, as well as for students looking to receive some help with study skills and test preparation.

Are you interested in learning how to ride a motorcycle and obtain your motorcycle license in North Carolina?
