Exhibitors

We invite manufacturing companies from across our region to join us as an exhibitor for our annual MFG Day Industry Showcase! This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your products and the exciting careers available in the manufacturing industry. Over 700 students and community members visit this event every year.

The Industry Showcase and Venue

The MFG Day Industry Showcase occurs once per year, always on National Manufacturing Day (first Friday of October). The event is located at the E. Eugene Moore Manufacturing and Biotech Solutions Center at 2101 Nash Street in Sanford, NC. 

Setup

Exhibitors can set up their space either the afternoon before the event (2:00 - 5:00 p.m.) or the morning of the event. All spaces must be completely set up no later than 8:00 a.m. on the day of the event. Exhibitors can break down their space between 2:00 - 3:30 p.m., or schedule a time to come the following week. 

Event Hours/Schedule

*NEW in 2026* The full event time remains the same this year beginning at 9:00 a.m. and concluding at 2:00 p.m.; however, we’ve introduced a new format this year: 

• INDUSTRY SHOWCASE | 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
  Career exploration for 8th – 12th grade students with regional employers and education partners.

• COMMUNITY JOB FAIR | 12:00 - 2:00 p.m.
  Open to the community—bring your résumé and connect with employers across three counties.

The Exhibitor Lunch will be available between 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. This is a floating lunch. Exhibitors should alternate times with their colleagues so that the exhibitor table remains staffed throughout the event. 

Exhibit Layout and Assignments

All exhibitors receive an 8-foot table and (2) chairs in their 10x10 space. No tablecloth is provided - please bring your own. Table assignments are made by the event organizer based on space and power needs, as well as considering the general flow of the event. Not all locations have access to power. If you indicate you need power on your registration form, please bring drop cords. Refer to this Event Floor Layout for reference. 

Internet Access

CCCC’s guest internet access is available in the building, although we can not make any guarantees for its reliability or speeds on the day of the event. You may choose to bring your own hotspot/MiFi device if you wish to ensure security and that you have Internet access via cellular.

Name Badges

Exhibitors will be given lanyards with “MFG DAY EXHIBITOR” printed on the badge. You are encouraged to wear your company name badge as well. Please return these lanyards and badges at the end of the event.

Parking

Security will be on site to assist with parking on the day of the event. Refer to this Exhibitor Parking Guide (coming soon) for directions on unloading/loading and parking.
