This session is to help students develop successful study habits. College can be overwhelming and may be difficult to know how to manage time. You will learn how to become a better student by learning strategies and tips to reach your academic goals.  We will touch on tutoring services, time management, handle deadlines, combat procrastination, and how to create good study habits. Do you have a hard time focusing or figuring out what’s important? Textbooks can be tedious. In this session, we will provide you with important strategies to help you effectively gather information from your textbooks and learn how to take notes to assist with comprehension. We will highlight VA benefits, college credit for military service, resources,  Veterans Upward Bound, Cougar Vets, the MARC (Military Affiliated Resource Center)and more!
