This session is to help students develop successful study habits. College can be overwhelming and may be difficult to know how to manage time. You will learn how to become a better student by learning strategies and tips to reach your academic goals.  We will touch on tutoring services, time management, handle deadlines, combat procrastination, and how to create good study habits. All new students and their families are strongly encouraged to attend an in person new student orientation the week before classes begin. This orientation is designed to provide you “just in time” information to prepare you for the first weeks of classes. You will be introduced to your designated Career Community, meet faculty members, receive a campus tour, and connect with fellow students just like you.
