Summer 2026 Graduation Application
Apply for Summer 2026 Graduation and Commencement Reservation
If you expect to complete the requirements for your degree, diploma, or certificate in Summer 2026, submit your graduation application during the application window.
- Graduation at Central Carolina Community College is not automatic; students must apply to have a credential officially awarded and conferred.
- Application opens: Summer application open now.
- Application closes: Friday, June 26, 2026, 11:59 p.m.
- Graduation Practice and Information Session: July 7, 2026, 1:00 p.m. OR 5:30 p.m.
Before You Apply
- Meet with your advisor to review your record and confirm that you are on track to complete your program in the current term.
- Review the credential you plan to complete before you submit your application.
- Submit a separate graduation application for each credential you expect to earn; for example, if you are completing both a degree and a certificate, submit one application for each credential.
How to Apply
- Log in to the CCCC Portal.
- Open the Success Hub.
- Select the “Graduation Application” link under Forms and Processes.
- Complete and submit the application(s) for your Summer 2026 credential(s).
If you are completing two or more degrees, diplomas, and/or certificates, you must submit an application for each credential you expect to receive.

Ordering Your Regalia
All graduates participating in the August 6, 2026 commencement ceremony are required to wear black academic regalia (cap, gown, tassel).
- Ordering Deadline: July 11, 2026
- How to Order: Order your regalia from our authorized vendor, Herff Jones.
- Ceremony Policy: Per college policy, no personal stoles, sashes, or cords may be worn during the formal ceremony.
Honors and Program Cords:
- Honor Graduates: Students with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher will receive their official honors stoles (White, Red, or Blue) at lineup on the day of the ceremony. Phi Theta Kappa members also receive their stoles on the day of the ceremony.
- Program Cords: Only program-specific cords coordinated through academic departments and approved by the Registrar’s Office are permitted. These are distributed by those program coordinators.
Important Reminders
- Applying for graduation is required for conferral even if you do not plan to participate in the commencement ceremony.
- Submission of an application does not guarantee award of the credential, final review is based on successful completion of program requirements.
- A program GPA of 2.0 or higher and a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher are required to award a curriculum credential.
FAQ
Do I need to apply for graduation?
Yes. Graduation is not automatic, and you must apply to have your credential awarded and posted to your transcript.
Do I need more than one application if I am earning more than one credential?
Yes. CCCC requires a separate graduation application for each credential you expect to earn.
Should I talk to my advisor before I apply?
Yes. CCCC instructs students to meet with an advisor to confirm graduation eligibility before submitting the application.
When will I receive my degree/diploma/certificate?
No credentials are presented during the Commencement. Credentials are mailed within 4-6 weeks of graduation, and graduates should receive them within two months.
