SANFORD, N.C. — CCCC alumni who are employed in the biotechnology industry took on starring roles at a recent biotechnology networking event held at the college’s Dennis A. Wicker Civic & Conference Center in Sanford.
Students and professionals got to hear from a panel of CCCC alumni currently employed at Astellas, Pfizer, Amgen, and Eli Lilly. Other businesses and institutions participating in the event included the International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineering, the NC BioTech Center, Novo Nordisk, NC BioNetwork, East Carolina University, and the college’s Biotech Business and Industry Leadership Team advisory board.
