
CCCC announces new Continuing Education courses for Fall 2025
SANFORD, N.C. — Central Carolina Community College is expanding its Continuing Education course offerings this fall to meet evolving workforce needs and student interests across the region. From skilled trades and inspection certifications to artificial intelligence and real estate, the new lineup of short-term training programs provides valuable pathways to in-demand careers.
New courses launching this fall include:
Building Inspection I – Prepares individuals for the Building Level I inspector exam, covering residential and small commercial code enforcement up to 20,000 sq. ft.
Mechanical Inspection I – Offers training in mechanical and fuel gas code enforcement, leading to Mechanical Level I inspector exam eligibility.
Plumbing Inspection I – Focuses on residential and small commercial plumbing inspections and prepares students for the Plumbing Level I certification exam.
Core Cybersecurity Concepts – Provides a beginner-friendly overview of cybersecurity principles, threats, risk management, and career pathways with guest industry speakers.
Power Your Work with AI – Introduces students to generative AI tools like ChatGPT for task automation, productivity, and ethical AI use in personal and professional settings.
Agricultural Mechanization – Covers the operation and management of farm machinery, including tractors, irrigation systems, and on-farm energy production, with hands-on skills.
NC Real Estate Prelicensing – Satisfies the NC Real Estate Commission requirements for provisional broker application and prepares students for the real estate licensure exam.
Health and Wellness Coach - This course is designed to provide individuals with extensive knowledge, tools, and resources to work as nationally certified health and wellness coaches.

Continuing Education classes at CCCC are open to adults of all ages and backgrounds. Many courses are designed to be completed in a matter of weeks and provide direct pathways to credentials and certifications.
