This one-hour workshop is an engaging learning opportunity for school and community audiences to connect with their family’s historical and cultural traditions around food. The audience will be given the opportunity to begin planning, designing, and creating their own family cookbooks. Supplies will be provided. This project was made possible through partnership with Harnett County and funding from the North Carolina Arts Council

Please join us for the Military Career and Resource Event scheduled for Thursday, April 4th at the Dennis Wicker Civic Center in Sanford from 11:00am - 2:00pm. Various educational institutions, military leaders, community organizations, and employers will be in attendance to provide valuable resources and opportunities. 

This community wide event is open to all members within our community; attendees do not need to be military affiliated to participate.
