What You’ll Learn
The Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET) program is designed to prepare entry-level individuals with the cognitive and physical skills needed to become certified law enforcement officers in North Carolina. The BLET program has been thoroughly researched, legally reviewed, and contains the most current law enforcement information available and concludes with a comprehensive written exam and skills testing.

Intensive Hands-on Training
Within the program, hands-on activities are designed to prepare you for an exciting law enforcement career. Our training techniques employ best practices in many areas: firearms, driving, subject control and arrest techniques, patrol techniques, and rapid deployment.
Specialization Opportunities
This program prepares students for a wide range of specialization opportunities, such as: drones, K-9s, domestic violence, victims services, water operations (boats/dive team), crime scene investigations, tactical units, road patrol, school resource officers, traffic unit (crash investigation/radar), and many more.
