CCCC offers creative writing classes

PITTSBORO - Central Carolina Community College is offering a variety of creative writing classes beginning in March at CCCC's Chatham Main Campus in Pittsboro.

The Creativity in Poetry and Short Fiction class will meet on Wednesdays beginning March 1 and concluding April 5. The class, taught by Thomas Dow II, will meet from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

The Flash Fiction class will meet on Saturday, March 25, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Instructor is Ruth Moose.

The Strategies for the Writing Life class will meet on Saturday, March 18, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Instructor is Marjorie Hudson.

The Business of Writing Romance class will meet on Thursdays beginning March 23 and concluding May 4. The class, taught by Dolly Sickles, will meet from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

The Transform Your Health: Write to Heal class will meet on Mondays beginning March 6 and concluding May 1. The class, taught by Mary Barnard, will meet from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

The Writing the Young Adult Novel class will meet on Thursdays beginning March 23 and concluding April 13. The class, taught by Susan Sipal, will meet from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
