Cougar Classic basketball set for Dec. 29-30

Get ready for a holiday basketball event as Central Carolina Community College hosts the Cougar Classic December 29 and 30 at Powell Hall on the CCCC Lee Main Campus in Sanford, N.C.

Also participating in the two-day event are Fayetteville Technical Community College, Mountain Gateway Community College, and Patrick & Henry Community College.

The tournament schedule:

December 29 (Friday): 5 p.m. - Fayetteville Tech vs. Patrick & Henry; 7 p.m. - Central Carolina vs. Mountain Gateway.

December 30 (Saturday): 1 p.m. - Fayetteville Tech vs. Mountain Gateway; 3 p.m. - Central Carolina vs. Patrick & Henry.

Cost of admission is $5 per day.

Cougar Classic sponsors are Sanford Surrounded and BSN Sports.
