CCCC Vet Med program graduates 31

Central Carolina Community College awarded Associate in Applied Science degrees to 31 graduating Veterinary Medical Technology students at the college’s May 11 Spring Commencement exercises in the Dennis A. Wicker Civic Center. The college has been offering VMT training since 1964, when it was the first community college in North Carolina to do so. The program is accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association. VMT graduates are prepared for employment in private veterinary practices, research facilities, pharmaceutical companies, diagnostic laboratories, zoos, wildlife rehabilitation centers, state and federal agencies, veterinary teaching hospitals, and specialty and emergency practices.
