CCCC-Chatham hosts solar power information and activity day

Central Carolina Community College student Daniel Leith takes an energy-output reading on a solar panel during his photovoltaic installation class. CCCC hosts a solar electricity education day, Real Jobs. Real Progress. Real Solar., March 23 at the college’s Chatham County Campus, in Pittsboro. Businesses, government agencies, educators, students and the public are invited to this free event to learn what solar power is and the impact it can have on them. The event runs 10 a.m.-5 p.m. at the college’s Chatham County Campus, 764 West St., Pittsboro.
