Members of the board of directors of the former Goldston Medical Center presented a check for $20,000 to the Central Carolina Community College Foundation to establish the Goldston Medical Center Board Nursing Scholarship Endowment. The endowment will provide a $1,000 scholarship annually. The Center served the rural southwestern area of Chatham County from 1975 until 2005.
