Central Carolina Community College has responded to changing economic times and workforce education needs by creating a Division of Economic & Community Development. The division brings together departments that provide a wide range of support and training services for business and industry and their current and future workers. Welding is one field for which there has been an increasing demand for skilled workers, so the college is expanding its welding program, among others.
