PITTSBORO - Central Carolina Community College is offering a variety of creative writing classes at CCCC's Chatham Main Campus in Pittsboro.

  • Charting Your Path to Publication will meet Saturday, Jan. 20. The class, taught by Michele Berger, will meet from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • our Life is Poem! will meet on Mondays beginning Jan. 22 and concluding Feb. 26. Instructor is Ruth Moose for the class, which will meet from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
  • Write Your Novel - Part I will meet on Saturdays beginning Jan. 27 and concluding May 12 from 9 a.m. to noon. Instructor is Samantha Bryant.
  • Write Your Life Story will meet on Wednesdays beginning Feb. 7 and concluding April 4 from 10 a.m. to noon. Instructor is Karen Pullen.
  • Flash Fiction Made Easy: A DIY Kit will meet Saturday, March 3, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Instructor is Ashley Memory.
  • Transform Your Health: Write to Heal will meet on Mondays beginning March 5 and concluding April 30 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Instructor is Mary Barnard.
  • Passionate Grammar in Your Poetry will meet on Saturday, March 10, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Instructor is Ralph Earle.
  • The Business of Writing Romance will meet on Wednesdays beginning March 21 and concluding May 2 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Instructor is Dolly Sickles.
  • Writing the Killer Mystery will be held Saturday, April 28, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • The Business of Writing for Children will meet Saturday, May 12, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Instructor is Dolly Sickles.
