SANFORD - The Central Carolina Community College women's cross country team is ranked ninth in the debut edition of the National Junior College Athletic Association Division III Women's Cross Country National Coaches' Ranking for the 2021 season, as released by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

Members of Coach Richard Briggs' CCCC team, with previous high school listed, are Angelika Adriano (Pinecrest H.S.), Emilie Obregon (Triton H.S.), Bersai Perez (Lee County H.S.), Charmaine Robison (Lumberton H.S.), and Kimberly Vasquez (Harnett Central H.S.).

The CCCC team will next participate in the Hagan Stone Cross Country Classic on Saturday, Oct. 2.
