CCCC Academic & Cultural Enrichment Series Presents "The Art of Critical Mapping"

  • Learn from Tania Allen, Associaten Professor of Art + Design and Co-Director of Co-Lab: Mapping as Critical Research Tool at North Carolina State University, about the artistic and narrative form of critical mapping. The audience will be introduced to the concept of critical mapping and given the opportunity to create their own maps in a hands-on activity. This 45-minute lecture is followed by a hands-on 45-minute workshop for participants. This event is a unique learning opportunity for school and community audiences. Supplies will be provided. This project was made possible through partnership with Harnett County and funding from the North Carolina Arts Council.
