Campus Visits
A great way to find out more about CCCC is to schedule a campus visit. This visit will provide you with a chance to meet faculty and staff, tour the state-of-the art facilities, experience the campus, and have your questions answered.

8th Grade Campus Tours
SOO facilitates campus tours to the eighth (8th) grade students in each of our service learning areas (Chatham, Harnett and Lee counties). The campus tours help 8th graders realize college is possible and get them excited about developing their career pathway and learn more about the resources available to them upon entering high school. With the assistance of Faculty, Student Ambassadors and Staff; students are guided around the college campus to learn more about the programs offered by Central Carolina Community College.

CCW Instructional Day
Student Onboarding and Outreach (SOO) host an annual high school instructional day. The CCW Instructional Day is focused on those high school seniors (Chatham, Harnett, and Lee County schools) who have not completed a college application (to any school) and/or have not selected a career pathway in their final semester. They will be invited to visit the Lee Main campus to learn more about the programs and resources offered by CCCC. Information sessions conducted by instructor, and/or current students will provide a brief overview of a curriculum, program highlights, see hands-on demonstrations and information on industries and career opportunities. (Lunch is provided).
-
Information and Planning Conference (IPC)
Each year, for over 25 years; Student Outreach & Recruitment schedules the conference at a different location in our service learning areas to highlight all new changes and growth throughout CCCC. The Information and Planning Conference gives the college the opportunity to express our appreciation to high school guidance counselors, career development coordinators, principals and central office administrators.

SOO Decision Day
As part of the National Decision Day, Student Onboarding and Outreach (SOO) will collaborate with and/or participate in the local Decision Day at the high schools in our service learning areas to rally our support to graduating seniors. The event will reinforce our commitment to students by celebrating their completion of high school and recognize those students in our learning service areas (Chatham, Harnett and Lee counties) who have selected CCCC for their postsecondary educational plans.
