Spring open registration

University transfer student Will Bridges (right), of Sanford, discusses taking some of his classes via the Internet with Bianka Stumpf, CCCC director of Distance Education. Bridges plans to get his associate degree and then transfer as an upperclassman to N.C. State University to major in meteorology. He said taking some of his classes online is convenient and better fits his schedule. Open registration took place Jan. 5 at the college’s campuses in Sanford, Pittsboro and Lillington. Classes start Jan. 7. Late registration will continue through Jan. 13 at the Student Services offices at the three campuses.
