Dr. Robert Patterson, a former member of the college’s board of trustees, and his wife, Cecelia, of Sanford, donated it to the college through the CCCC Foundation. The motorcycle mechanics class rebuilt it for the ESTC’s Motorcycle Basic Riders class. The class teaches people who have never ridden motorcycles how to do so safely. The weekend class is held about 20 times a year. For more information on the class, call the ESTC at (919) 776-5601.
