Green Business Fund grant workshop at CCCC-Chatham

PITTSBORO — The North Carolina Board of Science & Technology will conduct an NC Green Business Fund grant workshop at Central Carolina Community College’s Chatham County Campus on Thursday, Dec. 11.

The event, sponsored by the college, takes place from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Multipurpose Room, Building 2, at the campus, 764 West St., Pittsboro.

The workshop will feature presentations by the Small Business Center and Small Business Technology Development Center. It will provide information on the NC Green Business Fund, how to apply for a Fund award, and information on writing a Fund proposal.

Eligibility for the 2008-09 NCGBF solicitation is open to: 1) small, for-profit businesses (with 100 or fewer employees); 2) non-profit organizations; 3) state agencies; and 4) local governments.
