CCCC HFS students will host Health and Wellness Fair and C4 Combine to benefit the public

SANFORD - The Central Carolina Community College Health and Wellness Fair will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, Oct. 30, at the CCCC Lee Main Campus Classroom & Fitness Center Gymnasium.

This event is the brainstorm of the CCCC Health and Fitness Science program students.

In addition, the HFS students will conduct the C4 Combine on from 9-11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29, in the Classroom & Fitness Center Gymnasium. The C4 Combine is an opportunity for participants to measure skill-related and health related components of physical fitness, as well as to see how they measure in regards to professional and Olympic level performances in those areas.

Both events are free and open to the public.

Central Carolina Community College's Health and Fitness Science program prepares multi-skilled fitness professionals to be qualified to perform various skills in the health and fitness industry. Graduates of the Health and Fitness Science program will be required to sit for the American Council on Exercise Personal Trainer Certification Exam before graduation. Graduates may also be eligible to sit for a variety of other examinations that pertain to the health and fitness industry.
