SANFORD - The Central Carolina Community College golf program will compete in four events this fall.

The CCCC golfers will compete in the Cougar Classic at Anderson Creek Golf Club, Sept. 29-30; the Davidson County Community College Invitational at Asheboro Country Club in Asheboro, Oct. 8-9; the Wake Tech Community College Invitational at East Ridge Golf Club in Raleigh, Oct. 13-14; and the Johnston Community College Invitational at Pine Hollow Golf Club in Clayton, Nov. 3-4.

Returning from last year's team are Lucas Cannady (Sanford, Southern Lee High School) and Jordan Caudle (Sanford, Southern Lee High School). "Lucas made a lot of improvement during his freshman campaign and I expect that he will continue to improve and be a big part of our success," said CCCC Golf Coach Jonathan Hockaday. "Jordan was one of our main contributors last year and is positioned to lead this team."

Joining this year's CCCC golf program is Justin Minter (Sanford, Southern Lee High School). "We expect big things from Justin," said Hockaday. "He has experience from amateur golf and high school that we think will allow him to step in and be a top contributor immediately."
