The Central Carolina Community College Foundation sponsored a musical event featuring the Lee County Community Orchestra and members of the Lee County High School Show Choir on Friday, March 24, at the Dennis A. Wicker Civic Center in Sanford. Approximately 85 people attended the event, which included dinner. The CCCC Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization affiliated with, but independent of, Central Carolina Community College. It receives donations of money and equipment on behalf of the college and uses them to promote its educational mission and assist students through scholarships and grants.
