'Celebrating American Heroes' program set for Nov. 4

SILER CITY - "Celebrating American Heroes" is the theme of a Veterans Day event to be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 4, at Central Carolina Community College's Siler City Center.

Featured on the program will be the 82nd Airborne Division's All-American Chorus from Fort Bragg.

Guest speaker will be Chief of Police Gary T. Tyson of Siler City.

The program includes Adult High School, High School Equivalency, Adult Basic Education, and English as a Second Language student presentations and an honorary recognition ceremony.
