CCCC gets grant for Computer Integrated Machining program

SANFORD - Central Carolina Community College has received a grant from the Gene Haas Foundation that will provide $20,000 in scholarship support to Computer Integrated Machining students over the next two years.

The CCCC Foundation will award the funds.

"Helping students overcome their financial barriers has an enormous impact on that student's academic success," said Emily Hare, Executive Director of the CCCC Foundation. "We are so grateful for the Gene Haas Foundation's donation, which will directly support many of our Machining students in pursuit of their educational goals."

The CCCC Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization affiliated with, but independent of, the college. It receives donations of money and equipment on behalf of CCCC and uses them to promote the educational mission of the college and assist students through scholarships and grants.
