LILLINGTON - Central Carolina Community College will host a Lasers & Photonics Technology (Lasers and Light) workshop for youth from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, March 28, at the CCCC Harnett Main Campus in Lillington.
Participants will be introduced to elementary reflection and refraction, along with the applications of electronics, fiber optics, photonics, and laser principles. In addition, participants will view demonstrations of various types of lasers.
Registration fee is $10, which includes materials, supplies, and a snack. Seating is limited.
