CCCC Nurse Aide I class donates gift bags

The Central Carolina Community College Nurse Aide I night class, taught by Kim Tew, R.N., donated gift bags and supplies to Harnett Woods Nursing Home residents and staff on Aug. 2, 2017. Included in the donations were socks, lotions, body/bath soaps, combs, tissues, shampoos, and shaving cream, as well as animal crackers, peanut butter crackers, and oatmeal pies. Fifty individual bags were made for the Harnett Woods' residents. Boxes of supplies for the Dementia Unit were also donated. Over 150 pairs of socks were purchased and donations of soft cookies and muffins were donated to the Activity Room for the residents' morning coffee fellowship. Additionally, the Harnett Woods' staff was shown appreciation with candies for each nursing station.
