Central Carolina Community College and Chatham County are excited about the prospects for attracting automotive assembly and original equipment manufacturers to the 1,800-acre Chatham-Randolph Megasite, located primarily in northwest Chatham County. The college will provide skilled workforce training, an important component in attracting industry to the site. Southern Business & Development magazine has ranked the megasite as the No. 3 site in the South - and No. 1 in the state - for an auto assembly plant.
