Central Carolina nursing grads score high on national exam

The 2009 Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) graduates of Central Carolina Community College earned a pass rate of 93 percent on the National Council Licensure Examination-Registered Nurse (NCLEX-RN) the first time they sat the test. All are now registered nurses. The North Carolina Board of Nursing uses the NCLEX, prepared by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing, to measure competence for graduates of board-approved programs of nurse education.
