CCCC VMT Students Score High on National Exam

Dr. Paul Porterfield, Veterinary Medical Technology Department Chair, and the whole VMT department: Kim Browning, Tina Godbey, and Lori Rainforth, Veterinary Medical Instructors, Jonathan Loftis, Animal Facilities Manager, and Nancy Robinson, Lead Veterinary Medical Instructor, deserve high marks for turning out a stellar 2008 graduating class. CCCC's 2008 VMT students achieved a 97 percent passing rate on the national Veterinary Technician National Examination (VTNE).

This excellent performance has become the standard for our VMT graduating classes, who consistently do very well on all the components of this tough exam, outperforming VMT graduates from all over the United States by a high margin. Our grateful appreciation to the unsung heroes of the VMT Department for doing us proud year after year. Artical End
