Writing & Reading Center
The Writing and Reading Center at Central Carolina Community College offers students assistance with building strong foundations of essential writing skills and effective reading comprehension skills. Students have access to a range of free services including one-on-one coaching and content specific workshops. Walk-ins are accepted, but appointments are preferred and receive priority.
As an added convenience online assistance is available for distance and evening students through the Online Writing Lab: Coaching Request form.

We understand that not all schedules permit visiting the Writing and Reading Center during the hours of operation, and we are pleased to offer the Online Writing Lab for your convenience. After successfully submitting your work, one of our coaches will review the request and respond accordingly within 48 hours (not including weekends, holidays, or periods of high volume). Work submitted after 6pm will be reviewed the following business day.
