General Questions

  • What is WebAdvisor? WebAdvisor is an online inquiry and registration system that interacts with the college's database system. You will be able to register, pay for classes, view grades and unofficial transcripts, check your financial aid status, and view your class schedule. return to top
  • What is my WebAdvisor login? Your login will be the same user identification as your Blackboard and Cougar Mail accounts. Your user identification will be the first initial of your first name, first four letters of your last name, and the last three numbers of your student ID. The student ID number will be the unique number given to you by the college. It is not your social security number. Your initial password will be your birthdate in the MMDDYY format. After your initial login you will be prompted to change your password. (Click here to view this tutorial: How to login into WebAdvisor) return to top
  • When is my WebAdvisor account created? Your WebAdvisor account is created when we generate your admissions letter. In your welcome packet to the college you will find your admissions letter, information about logging into WebAdvisor and your college email account (Cougar Mail). If you receive a message that "Username not found in the registry. Please contact your system administrator" call the Registrar's Office (919-718-7201). return to top
  • What if I forgot my password? There are multiple ways to reset your password. The first will be to select "What's my password." The system can provide you a hint or reset your password (if you have an email address on file). If you reset your password it will send a temporary password to your selected email address (Note: You may want to check your spam folder for the email if you do not receive it after a few minutes). If these options do not work you can contact the Registrar's Office (919-718-7201) and answer a set of questions to reset your password. return to top
  • Why was my account deactivated? If you have not enrolled in the college within the past year your WebAdvisor account will be deactivated for security reasons. If you are planning on returning to the college fill out an online application. You should receive a letter within two weeks with your instructions on how to login into WebAdvisor. return to top
