CCCC Women's Volleyball

CCCC is developing its volleyball program.  Central Carolina is the only community college in the central region of North Carolina offering competitive athletic programs for its student athletes.

Team Mascot: Lady Cougars
Scholarships: Region Ten, Division III, is a non-athletic scholarship division. Central Carolina Community College offers a variety of financial aid programs including state, local, and federal grants and scholarships.  Students may choose to sign athletic letters of intent at CCCC.
Facilities: CCCC has a recently constructed gymnasium featuring state of the art flooring, modern locker rooms, and climate-controlled environment.

Goal: To build a strong woman’s volleyball program at CCCC. All players are welcome, no matter the skill level out of high school.  CCCC’s program will work with student athletes to develop them into future four-year college prospects.
Athletic Experience: Three-year starter at Mt. Airy High School in volleyball
Excelled in track and field events in high school
Participant in the Yadkin Valley Volleyball Club
Standout player and team leader at NC Central University in Durham
Coach 18 Open Club Team (Brick City Volleyball Club)
Athletic Accomplishments and Honors: Two state 2A championships in volleyball
One state 2A championship runner-up in volleyball
Three Northwestern Conference volleyball titles
Named to all conference team in volleyball
Voted MVP by teammates
All-conference track and field athlete four years in high school
MVP track and field athlete in high school
Lead the NCCU Lady Eagles to the CIAA Volleyball finals
Named to the CIAA All-Tournament team her freshman year
Honors: Who's Who Among American College Teachers Sanford Area Chamber of Commerce Leedership Sanford Graduate 2004.
Academic Credentials: Bachelor of Arts degree in English – NCCU (graduating with honors)
