The purpose of Student Development Services is to assist students with various aspects of their education from admissions through graduation and job placement.

More specifically, Student Development Services handles admissions, testing, counseling, registration and records, financial aid, veterans' benefits assistance, job placement, career counseling, assistance to the disabled, transfer assistance, and coordination of student activities.

The hours of operation are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am to 9:00 pm, and Friday, 7:30 am to 3:30 pm.

CCCC is interested in your success and offers many student services, including the following:

Tutoring: Free tutors are available through the Academic Assistance Center on all campuses.

Career Opportunities: Study career opportunities, create an up-to-date resume, and do job searches in the Career Center located in the Student Center on Lee campus. See hours posted on the door.

Counseling: Academic counseling as well as counseling with minor life adjustment problems available in the Student Development Office on Lee campus.

Student Activities: See the Student Activities Director in the Student Center on the Lee campus for information about student activities including sports, SGA, activity days, contests, etc.

Library Services: The library staff can help with all types of research. Ask for assistance at the library desk. Check library hours for your campus.

Students with Disabilities: The Special Populations Coordinator in the Student Development Services on the Lee campus will assist you. Call (919) 718-7273 or 1-800-682-8353, ext. 7273 for information or to set an appointment.

Financial Aid: Many kinds of financial aid are available. See the Financial Aid Administrator at your campus.

Open Computer Lab: The Academic Assistance Center has open labs to help you to complete assignments, practice course competencies, access on-line distance education course materials and assignments, and practice certification testing. See the AAC on your campus for weekday and weekend hours.

Listening Lab: Foreign language listening stations are available in the Academic Assistance Center. Hours are posted at each campus.
