Lisa Key Brown serves as the Chair of Developmental Studies and teaches Essential Mathematics, and Introductory and Intermediate Algebra. Brown received her BS in Computer Studies at the University of Maryland (European Division) in Rota, Spain, and her MBA at Campbell University after serving in the US Navy for four years. Brown is active in state and national developmental associations, serving as Western Chair, Secretary (7 years), and Co-Chair of the Hospitality Committee for the National Association of Developmental Education in Greensboro 2009. Her service has allowed her to present at the state level many times. She enjoys life with her husband Carl and their two children.
