Parker retires from CCCC

Jackie Parker (left), of Sanford, nursing instructor at Central Carolina Community College, is retiring after 30 years of teaching, five at Wilson Technical Community College and 25 at CCCC. Co-workers hosted a retirement reception for her on Dec. 10 at CCCC's Lee County Campus. Among those who stopped by to wish her well was Gloria Peele, an old friend and director of the college’s nursing program from 1985 to 1995. Jackie holds a picture scrapbook of her career presented to her by co-workers.
