CCCC’s Lillington AEC High School team takes first place at fair

A team of Adult High School students from Central Carolina Community College’s Lillington Adult Education Center won First Place for Best Experiment at the Adult High School Regional Science Fair held Nov. 8 at Montgomery Community College. Students (from left) Traci Pretlow, James Wright and Raven Augustus presented three experiments that demonstrated the laws of force of motion: Volcano Eruption, Newton Cart and Potato Gun. Fair judges awarded Newton Cart First Place as the fair’s best experiment. The students were accompanied to the fair by AHS instructor Gary Ennis and retention specialist April Raines.
