CCCC Educational Office Professionals celebrate 25th anniversary
Dec 20, 2007
The Central Carolina Community College Chapter of the North Carolina Association of Educational Office Professionals celebrated its 25th anniversary Dec. 5 during the organization’s silent auction. The annual auction raises money for scholarships for CCCC students. Slicing the cake for the anniversary celebration were Linda Spivey (left), of Sanford, employment specialist, and Polly Bouldin, of Sanford, West Harnett Center supervisor. Spivey served as the first vice president and Bouldin as secretary when the EOP Chapter was organized in 1983. Spivey is currently vice president of the state organization. Marion Bridges, of Sanford, was the chapter’s first president. The CCCC EOP has grown from six members to 34. The NCAEOP, founded in 1951, is the only professional organization exclusively for educational office professionals.
