CCCC’s Rainforth selected for ‘Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers’

SANFORD – Lori Rainforth, Central Carolina Community College veterinary medical technology instructor, has been selected to appear in the 2007-08 “Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers.”

Rainforth, a resident of western Harnett County, has been an instructor at the college since 1992. She teaches the anatomy and clinical practices labs as well as classes in nutrition, diseases and breeds. Rainforth, a Nebraska native, earned her bachelor’s degree in animal science and master’s degree in veterinary science from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

 “To work with students from the beginning and see them, in two years, become competent technicians is a joy,” she said.
