‘Local dinner’ to benefit CCCC program
CARRBORO – When Carrboro’s community-owned
Italian eatery, Panzanella, holds its local dinner night,
10 percent of restaurant sales will benefit the Central
Carolina Community College (CCCC) Sustainable Agriculture
program, which is offered at the Pittsboro campus.
Panzanella is sponsoring its “Totally Local Dinner” Wednesday,
August 31 from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The “Totally Local Dinner” will feature a
menu of foods created from ingredients produced and purchased
within a 250-mile radius of Carrboro.
Panzanella is located at 101 East Weaver Street in Carrboro.
Parties of six or more should call (919) 929-6626 to
make a reservation.
