  Poetry class planned in Pittsboro

Pittsboro, NC – An upcoming class planned at Central Carolina Community College’s (CCCC) Chatham County Campus will allow students to explore the art of writing poetry.

“Poetry Writing,” will include discussions of traditional poetry such as quatrains and sonnets as well as contemporary and non-traditional forms.  Students will be guided through several writing exercises designed to help them discover their own poetic style.

Separate classes will be offered on Saturday, April 3, 2004, and Saturday, April 24, 2004, at the Chatham County Campus in Pittsboro.  Each class begins at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 12:00 p.m.  Tuition is $34.00.
