SANFORD - Emily Hare, Executive Director of the Central Carolina Community College Foundation, has been elected president of the N.C. Council of Resource Development Inc. (NC CORD). She will serve as president until October 2016.
"I am honored and flattered to have the opportunity to lead such an outstanding organization," said Hare. "This group of fundraising professionals works together as a team to promote best practices and ideas among the community colleges in North Carolina to help us change the lives of our students. That's what we want to do - change lives, and the more we can learn from each other, the greater of an impact we can have."
Hare said she truly loves and enjoys her work as Executive Director of the CCCC Foundation. "My main focus is to be able to provide as much financial support to CCCC and its students so that we can help better the lives of the individuals who attend here and the communities we serve," she said.
