CCCC hosts middle school Web design workshop

SANFORD - Middle school students step into the exciting world of creating Web pages in Central Carolina Community College’s Web Page Development workshop.
The workshop, designed for students in grades 6-8 and their parent/guardian, takes place on Saturday, March 7, at the college’s Lee County Campus,1105 Kelly Drive, Sanford. They will learn to create a Web page and how to publish to the Internet through “hands-on” activities. Each pair will receive their own thumb drive on which to save their work.
The workshop is hosted by the college’s Computer Information Technology Department. Registration is $10/pair and there is a limit of 15 adult/child pairs (30 people total). Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged. For more information, contact Virginia Brown, (919) 718-7347.
